  • Updates Until Now... Kupo?? Need I Say More, Meow?

So far so good. Sorry everyone, it has been awhile since I have updated xanga. I did not forget about this but I have been busy with many things, up and down motivation, drama with enemies, and classes.  It has been a roller coaster of many things this year. I have to step it up and keep up my goals in sight to keep up with my New Year's resolution and such.  Easily distracted by the petty things among many things but I'm trying to stay focused on what I have to do versus what I want to do.  This month has been fun to celebrate Khmer New Year's but also to pay in my respects for my late cousin and last month for my late grandparents. RIP grandma, grandpa, and cousin, Chanda. You'll be missed but never forgotten.  Kollaboration Boston has been really interesting and keeping in tabs with the responsibility as a CA and up with homework and test has been an interesting ride of sorts.  Met some interesting people in Kollaboration and more social networking to offer in the future so I'll ride it out to see what's in store.  Seems awesome so far in Boston and I love it.  I miss my old apartment in Brighton but I'll find a better one soon. Commuting from RI has been the the norm but I miss waking up in my own place there and just hopping on the train to head to my classes instead of the commuter rail in the week days!!! Can't wait for this weekend for Kollaboration Boston's Show, dinner, and club night life scene with the select people brave enough to tag along with me to these events and such.  Should be an awesome Saturday but I'll regret missing out the better Khmer New Year's party in Rhodes in Pawtuxet with my other friends, I'll join them next year, hopefully. I have obligations with Kollaboration Boston to dedicate my time and service to besides in the Marines back in 2008. I remember the good times and bad, good experiences to live and learn by overall!! I'm glad I lived through and met everyone through what I seen as well as working with them. One of a kind experience to meet different kinds of people in combat as brother and sisters in arms.  I'm glad my eight year contract is over since 2011 of October 10th and received my honorable discharge award like a few months later... Great timing as always, Admins of the Marine Corps!! Impeccable and uber fast... haha but better late than never I suppose. They expect you to hurry your ass up only to wait... Love that game, hurry up and wait... NOT!! Looking forward to better things after the Marine Corps still as well as more lessons in life  to learn to make me stronger and improve myself for better! For that I am grateful for and for everything up until now... I should be sleeping now since I have class at 1030am and the commute is an hour from Providence, yippies.... Loving the GI bill and it's perks, one of many things I earned and grateful for after my service has been rendered, heh.  Patience does pay off or patience is a big waste of time? I would like to believe in the first choice. To my family and friends who stuck by me up until now... I thank you so very much and life is so fragile as well as fleeting. One day you can enjoy a normal day without incident and the next second, minute, hour, day, or week something can change your life forever... The choices we make can cause ripples of affect that can have chain reactions to others connected to us for better or for worse.  We can never predict what may come but what with the choices we have control of, I deem it destiny rather than fate that is already set for you.  For you are the master of your own destiny! Aiming for North Eastern University if not, maybe UMass Boston or the other choices I've looked over so far for next spring but maybe fall?? Yikes... Gotta roll up them sleeves and do it up!! "Got to strike while the iron is hot...." I don't regret the actions I did or said so far but I do regret the time I wasted on the wrong people who didn't matter in the first place." Lesson learned and life goes on. :)

  • Updating *Sorry I've been slacking*

Been awhile since I updated and starting my third semester at Roxbury Comm. College. Hoping to keep my GPA high enough to transfer to North Eastern Univ, UMass Boston, or the other colleges I have in mind that has great English programs to further my career in that path.  A change in career path because Engineering path is one tough spot and math isn't my strong suit. Pre-Calculus and Calculus, ugh what a pain. English writing, journalism, reading, and etc seems to flow better for me.  I know I have to do better at being consistent and proficient with my study habits or else it would be a bad slip to my own grave academically.  Hopefully I can keep up and I'm doing what I can to stay on top of things.
New Year's was awesome, as well as Christmas, and my birthday went by.  27 years but I'm still me. I'm trying to make this year a great one apart from last year's.  Keep the good times rolling, keeping the ones that I care about proud of me, and the ones who matter the most in my life who made a difference every step of the way into shaping into the person I am today.  The end of this month will be the anniversary of my late grandparents, keeping them in my heart, and mind while moving forward.  I know they're watching from up above
. R.I.P grandma, grandpa, and cousin Chanda! We miss you and will continue to make you two proud!  I wish the weather would get warm already and let the coldness of fall pass by with the quickness! Movies stocked about, Act of Valor, Puss in Boots, funny movie actually, and can't wait to see The Avengers, Ghost Rider  - Spirit of Vengeance, Woman in Black, the next Kung Fu Panda, and possibly John Carter.  Other than that, chilling with the homies  and making it count with everyone else is really what it comes down to.  Life is flimsy and too short to be stuck on the negatives that try to hold us back.  We must push on, persevere, understand our own weaknesses, and turn them into our strengths.  You can't make everyone happy all of the time and in the end there's always that 1% that would cause you friction. It only exhaust yourself mentally and physically, save it for the ones that stuck by with you through thick and thin, that's where character comes into play to narrow it down to true friends, best friends, good friends, and friends.  So far so good and I'm content with everything but I know I can do better so I must strive for it harder and better! Until next session and take of yourselves everyone! So hyped my couzzo finally have another addition to their family, Aaliyah Pan to the Pan Clan . About time another lady added to our ranks, we're stacked with boys already.  ^_^

  • Halloween Escapade of Sorts and Miscellaneous

Time for an update and for this weekend's Halloween event was at Pearl Lounge.  They were hosting this event for Vinny, one of the actors from Jersey Shore made his appearance and the price venue was $25 apart from their usual $10 cover.  Paranormal Activity 3 was better than I expected and they did a better job apart from the previous two before them.  It rained sleet and the driving to and after was a pain but I managed.  I'm doing what I can to stay on par with my classes but I'll have to keep up my efforts to transfer to North Eastern or UMass Boston.  Shark night 3D wasn't too bad but it won't beat Deep Blue Sea with the shark scenes but it was a good CG on their part.  I've just recent joined Kollaboration 2 as Campus Ambassador and open my social networking as well as getting to meet new people.  This feels like a ASA but on a broader scale with the other Boston colleges combined.  It seems October skipped right through fall and went straight to winter with some early sleet and snow near the end of this month, heh.  So far so good , can't wait to see what November and December will show. :)

  • Summer Update and Miscellaneous

My life up until now from April has been up and down lately.  I definitely enjoyed this summer with some fond
memories, with my new rag tag crew of friends, strengthening old ones, and cutting off some that weren't so good to me.  Surrounding myself with more friends of my caliber is the way to go as well as listening to your family more often doesn't hurt when they offer you sound advice to prevent future stress or mistakes.  Instincts or impulses can lead you to the wrong way without guidance or sense of direction.  I much rather stick to instincts or at least put my heart in the right place usually resulting in less regrets that way.  Being sincere and honest as much as possible or just having a steady balance of everything whenever and whatever life throws at you is where you true character shows.  Whenever no one else is looking and doing the right thing, that is discipline to the fullest.  I still have much to learn about myself and what I'm capable of.  With the passing of my grandma and that was a tough blow to deal with when life threw that one at you. I managed to pass my first real semester of classes without a hitch and I'll continue on this path to find what career I'm best suited for.  It seems English has piqued my interest but Engineering is a no joke path so I must do well on Math and Science.  Hopefully I come up with a decision soon before it becomes too costly and not waste my GI bill. I'll not rush this and do my best diligently until everything seems clearer to me.  Earlier this August I moved out of my place in Brighton and that place served it's purpose.  I just had a taste of Boston for eight months and it was an enlightening experience as a Bostonian student.  I love the atmosphere and everything there compared to RI.  It's definitely a whole new league compared to what I'm used to dealing with as of late.
The movies I've watched so far has been awesome, Fast Five, The Mechanic, Kung Fu Panda 2, Thor, Capt. America, Battle LA, and Smurfs. *turned out better than I thought even though i missed like 15 mins or so due some complications.*  I finished summer classes without a hitch and now onto fall semester next week and hopefully my class register is fixed soon so I can take my classes I want. Hurry up professor!  My summer had some good parties thrown in the mix, kick ass bbqs with some good peoples, and beach time of course! Almost got overwhelmed by a rip tide but luckily I stayed calm and had some assistance to get back to safety.  Working out, getting ready for school, other fun hobbies, time with family, and friends is definitely one of many highlights this summer.  As summer comes to an end but it won't be forgotten and next year it will be even better!  I don't regret the stuff I did but only the time I wasted on with the wrong people. I still got so much to learn and about myself. Life and experience are the best teachers.  Finally secured a spot on Kollaboration 2 and I can't wait to do my best as part of the team! Oh man, the good times just keep on rolling! Until the next update, take care people, and see you next time on the next session. ^_^

  • Out With the Old & In With the New!!

    Mood - Good to Go
Jamming to -4th of July Jam of the Day - Written in the Stars by Tinie Tempa feat. Eric Turner

Haven't been back here to update in awhile so I'll do it now. I've been doing many things lately including cutting off some bad friends, concentrating on myself, college in Boston, summer, my family, and my new friends.  After severing those bad bonds and made some brand new ones that were of similar of my caliber.  Life has been pretty sweet so far, found my focus, and to the true best friends that stuck by my side that never gave up on me even when the drama heated up and I told them not involve themselves or stay away to let me handle it on my own... Loyalty and their true colors showed so I was ever so grateful that stuck by me when times were tough on me.  I rather have a few great friends than many bad friends. Now I have more time for everything else and saved a lot more money for better things in the future. Loving the life as a Bostonian but the summer is for all my favorite peoples!! You know who you are! Seen many fireworks lighting up the sky in the ocean of stars aka fire flowers going awry celebrating this awesome night with family and friends in remembrance of the fallen warriors and for the new generations to come! Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to the fullest! Winners find a way because that's what winners do. The difference between ordinary and he extraordinary is that little extra!!  Can't wait for fall semester in Boston and missing my favorite TX couples Austen and Paula!! Come back soon and I'll visit TX soon to see what they have to offer there! Living this summer up and doing it well so far. ^_^
